Impressions of Cornwall

Inspired by photographers such as Valda Bailey, Lynne Douglas and Andrew Gray, she has developed her own unique impressionist style. Her images are full of feeling, movement and have a dream-like quality. She goes beyond the image and conveys an emotion and a real sense of place. As with her earlier work, Louise is obsessed with light, in particular how it plays on the water, and using long exposure and lots of in-camera movement, she is able to capture the light as it reflects and bounces off the sea. Lose yourself in the moment, evoking a distant memory or a half remembered dream, taking you back to the places you love.
